There’s one thing I loved about my hair routine is my fermented rice water, I’m sure we must have seen it somewhere online, a friend of mine said she uses the rice water immediately which of course yielded no result, so how then do we prepare our rice water?

All you need is

👉

  •      Your rice (preferably on the days you want to eat rice at home to avoid food wastage)
  • ·         A jar, a bowl, a bottle as long as it can contain an amount of water
  • ·         Spray bottle

The Preparation would go in two ways first for those not cooking their rice, secondly those cooking rice for consumption.

·         If you’re not in the mood to cook rice you can still have your rice water all you’ve to do is take a little quantity of rice

  • ·         Wash out the chemicals first time
  • ·         Wash the rice again
  • ·         Get your jar, pour the washed rice inside keep in a pretty dark corner allow it to ferment

Secondly if you’re about to cook your rice for consumption of which I do all the time, especially on Sundays, in my country Nigeria we tend to eat rice almost every Sunday, different variety it could be jollof rice,  white rice or fried rice which ever way we love it, so this is what I do

  • ·            I wash my rice to take out all the excess chemicals used for preservation
  • ·         Pour inside my already heated pot, which ever way you want it
  • ·         Parboil your rice for at least 10-20 mins depending on the quantity of your rice
  • ·         Drain out the starchy water in a bowl, allow the water to cool down a little before transferring into a jar, bottle, a bucket whichever way you’ll want to.

The picture below is my already fermented rice water, oh yes I allow my rice water to ferment for at least 3 days, most times a week before usage.

·         Next step after getting fermented rice water is to make use of It during your wash day, get your spray bottle, spray from the tip of your hair all the way up to your scalp, making sure all sections get absorb.  you don’t have a spray bottle?

This is what it looks like

·         Cover your hair for a least 20 mins to allow infusion I also do tea rinse, I initially started with coffee. Nescafe to be specific I loved the feeling and the smell of it on my hair, but I currently use green tea, I want to know the difference, once I spray the tea on my hair after shampooing all I do is allow the hair dry a little on it own, please DO NOT USE TOWEL ON YOUR HAIR it would lead to breakage, as the towel strips the hair of every oil left, please don’t forget lock to ends of your hair with a good moisturizer.

Lets talk about Beans!

I'm not a food blogger just some random thought that has nothing to do with COVID-19. Either ways I'll plead we do the needful.  Back to my story For some reasons I've always wonder why a typical Nigerian child grew up with hate for beans🤧. Poor innocent sweet beans! Growing up eating beans was like me eating stones. Oh well it's also said that boys love beans more and they believe it makes them taller🙄😏, where's the lie? Either ways Beans is a nutritious proteinous🤣😂, delicious food. Either ways, would you love to have it🤗  the normal  Porridge beans or Ewa goyin with agege bread😋 as the Yoruba's would call it Or beans and stew🤔.  Do you know that there's a whole lot of ...

Growing up; puberty sets in.

I have been observing the kids around my area, I love them so much, then I realized that they're growing up so fast already!  Teach your teens about puberty, lot's of them are super curious about the changes they see going on in their body, teach them about puberty, they don't have to be your kids, they could be your niece, nephews, any kids close to you! If you can't teach them all, teach them to do the following.... -have their bathe twice daily. -wash essential parts of their body -teach them to brush their teeth well. -check out YouTube video about kids puberty -always be ready to listen to their questions -observe their mood swings as this period they've a lot going on, their hormones keep acting up. I love kids...  Train them so we would have a better society tomorrow, children are the leaders of tomorrow 🤗.  Thanks for stopper by our blog, kindly follow us on I.G health_blogger2

Oops! Got the wrong bra on!

Ooops!!! Hot but not my size According to study, it was said that less oxygen and fewer nutrients are delivered to the cells, while waste product are not flushed away as wearing the wrong bra and also the right one for too long can restrict the lymph flow in your breast! My main focus would be on two major issues. Signs that you're wearing the wrong bra  Health issues resulting from wearing the wrong bra! We ladies are fond of wearing fancy, lace, smart, attractive types of bra. And just because we love it that way we end up making the wrong choice!          Signs that you got the wrong bra on!        Sagging breast: wrong bra spoils the original breast shape, making the breast slack.        Bad posture/ uncomfortable position: you would end up not just been comfortable, trying to adjust each time.         Neck/shoulder pain: tight straps exert pressu...
