Ovarian cyst, basic information you need to know.

 I was chatting one evening, i then I came across a broadcast message about a young girl who tried explaining to her mother about her not being pregnant all that fell on a deaf ear, her mum accused her of having morning sickness of vomiting and all, the girl in question slumped, until her mum rushed her to the near by clinic to be told  by the nurses her daughter ovarian cyst was ruptured surprised/??? i was surprised too my topic for you today is  OVARIAN CYST .



Ovarian cyst according to my dictionary(wikitionary) is any collection of fluid surrounded by a very thin wall, with an ovary: any ovarian follicles that is larger than about two centimeters is termed an ovarian cyst. lets make it simple, ovarian cyst is a sack of fluid sac in the ovaries. they are harmless and go over time time. BUT it causes extreme pains when ruptured. imagine a row of iced filled balloons passing over your head in a very narrow part, one get tangled and burst open over your head. you would feel the  effect of the cold chilled ice down your spine.

ovarian cyst are common with women with regular period, and women of reproductive age. like i said before it is harmless not until multiples grow of the cyst is form, then ruptured

symptoms
 extreme pelvic pains
bloating
discomfort
unable to empty your bowels totally
unusual bleeding
pain during sex

causes

  • hormonal problems: our body becomes disturbed , mostly we ladies experience hormone changes do to drugs taken
  • pregnancy: a cyst during pregnancy assist the growing fetus until a placenta is formed 
  • severe pelvic infection there are chances of having a pelvic infection spread to your ovaries if not treated properly
  • endometriosis
its common during ovulation its not cancerous, 
visit your doctor take a pelvic scan,
do a blood test
do a swap test
 if you notice any of the symptoms above. it can be removed, or pain drugs are administered to reduce pains
